I won’t go back, and I won’t quit

I won’t go back, and I won’t quit

I’ll say it again:

I won’t go back, and I won’t quit!

My hope is in The Lord

HE says my best is yet to be

my future’s filled with blessings

Not cancelled by calamity

He’s my helper, hope and happiness

why would I entertain defeat?

that Devil lost the battle already

I won’t fall for his vile deceit!
