No Limits of the Heart

Life is precious because there are no limits to the fineness of human sensitivities.  We are capable of responding to the good, the true, the beautiful.  We have the capacity to love and to respond to love.”  ~ Norman Cousins

Love cares about people.  What they feel.  What they need.  Where they live.  Love hopes for God’s best.  Always.  In everything.”  ~ Ann Kiemel

10 Things of Thankful

It’s been another blessed and thankful week, the Lord kept me well.💖

I made progress on the “bedroom mess project” (a.k.a. “storage room with a bed”): filled 3 18-gallon plastic totes with what was in 8 ugly boxes taking up space…a few more to go!

Enjoyed fun phone visits with 2 friends.

My caregiver–so kind and willing to help with anything I need; she does the shopping for me, and if my list includes a fresh pineapple she cuts it up, such a treat!🍍  And, although she doesn’t like to cook, she brought me a yummy Russian pasta dish–comfort food!

She also gave me flowers for Valentines Day (I made her homemade fudge)💐

Thankful for good movies to watch–most of them free.

Grateful that Valentine’s Day has a deeper meaning than it did when I was younger.

Thankful for my neighbor who makes the BEST gravy (& mashed potatoes and chicken)!!

And equally grateful her 2 cats still adore me…or at least make a polite pretense😺😻

Very thankful it’s only raining, no snow (though, silly cherry blossoms are budding early as usual, despite my annual warning about a cold snap🙄).

Love Dwells Within💓

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

God’s Love💖 ~ Super Glue

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,p neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39
