The Angel’s Preview

Revelation 22:1-7 & 12-13 Amplified Bible

Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Christ), in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer exist anything that is cursed [because sin and illness and death are gone]; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve and worship Him [with great awe and joy and loving devotion]; they will [be privileged to] see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And there will no longer be night; they have no need for lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign [as kings] forever and ever.

(You Are Invited to be Blessed)

Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel [as a representative] to show His bond-servants the things that must soon take place.

“And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is the one who heeds and takes to heart and remembers the words of the prophecy [that is, the predictions, consolations, and warnings] contained in this book (scroll).”

“Behold, I (Jesus) am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one ]according to the merit of his deeds (earthly works, faithfulness). I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One].”

AND in Aramaic Bible in Plain English (verses 1-6):

And he showed me a river of the water of life, pure and clear as crystal, and it went out from the throne of God and of the Lamb. And in the center of the street on this side and on that, upon the river, The Tree of Life which produces twelve fruits, and every month it gives its fruits and its leaves for the healing of the peoples. And no curse shall be there, and the throne of God and of The Lamb shall be in it, and his Servants shall serve him. And they shall see his face and his Name shall be upon their foreheads. And there shall be no night there and neither will they need lights,* lamps, or the light of the Sun, because THE LORD JEHOVAH God gives them light, and he is their King* for the eternity of eternities. And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true, and THE LORD JEHOVAH, God of The Spirit of The Holy Prophets, has sent his Angel to show his Servants what is granted to happen soon.”

Verses 20-21 And when he testified these things, he said, “Yes*, I am coming soon.” “Come, LORD JEHOVAH Yeshua.”

The grace of Our Lord Yeshua The Messiah be with all of his Holy Ones. Amen.

Crazy Beautiful Drive

Indeed how they

did drive me crazy

one by one all

again and then some

each in singular

yet similar ways

but had they not…

I would dearly

have missed rare

journey of travels

adventure unparalleled

beautiful, most blessed

jeweled canals of my mind…

not optical illusions

no, exquisite channels

leading me soon toward

river of heaven

flowing from throne

of God and the Lamb–

Hero Stuff

In the average man is curled the hero stuff that rules the world.  Sam Walter Foss

Beginning in 1898, Foss served as librarian at the Somerville Public Library in Massachusetts. He married a minister’s daughter, with whom he had a daughter and son. Foss used to write a poem a day for the newspapers, and his five volumes of collected poetry are of the frank and homely “common man” variety. (Wikipedia)

Love Dwells Within💓

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

One-Liner-Wednesday ~ Laughter

Badge by Laura @ riddlefromthemiddle.com

As I got older my motto became, “Faith, Funny & Food”–the first 2 are absolutely as essential as food; I ate chips, donuts, pizza to cope–but without faith in the Lord Jesus, and the gift of humor, I was sinking fast (might have been the food too😉). ~ Cale

Sorry this is more than one line…I was on a roll (with cheese).

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Psalm 91:2
I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

2 Samuel 22:31
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

For those like me, who enjoy reading various translations/versions of Bible scripture, here is Psalm 46:1 with different phrasings:

God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble.  Amplified Bible

† God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.  Christian Standard Bible

Young’s Literal Translation
God is to us a refuge and strength, A help in adversities found most surely.
