Immanuel (God with us)

baby JESUS, already King–

Christ on Calvary’s Cross

Redeemer crucified

bled in agony, died

God’s Grace at great cost

to save the Lost

fulfill the old Law–

Christ, Son of God

Messiah, LORD

heals and delivers

still Today

Prince of Peace

calls, “Follow Me”

hear Him say:

“I’ll give you rest

and Living Water

when you thirst–

I’ll be your Shepherd

lead you well and true

on path of Righteousness–

be your comfort, strength, sustain

carry you to the very End

I’m the Savior–on Me, trust and depend”

I will tell of the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD,

According to all that the LORD has done for us,

And His great goodness toward the house of Israel,

Which He has shown them according to His compassion

And according to the abundance of His lovingkindnesses.

Prepaid Home

A sweeter deal I’ll never find:

prepaid home eternal, mine–

the price to Builder?  EVERYTHING

His Son on cross, pain echoing…

sound of pounding nails resounds

today in hearts where His shed blood

beats song of salvation, victory.

I’m no longer poor wanderer, stranger lost–

a heavenly mansion waits for me

dressed in glory, grace…and great, the cost.

Jesus, true Savior paid it all–

everyday I wake, call Him LORD

and thank Him for what I

could never afford.
